The most convenient ways to travel to Petrozavodsk are via intermediate points such as Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the conference place from the railroad station by public transport, or 10 minutes by a taxi.

  • By plane. Petrozavodsk is connected with Moscow, Kazan, Ekaterinburg and several other Russian cities by direct flights. There is a regular bus between the airport and Petrozavodsk bus station.
  • By train. A night train takes 10 hours to get to Petrozavodsk from Moscow. A sitting train from Saint Petersburg takes 5 hours. There is a variety of available hours, routes and compartment classes. You can buy tickets via the official website of the Russian railroads.
  • By bus. There is a night bus from Saint Petersburg to Petrozavodsk.
